| The values shown in per cent are the amounts of
Ceralloy (Cerium Mischmetal) to be added in each case to the respective molten metal prior
to casting and in accordance with the minimum section thickness of the castings. The
thinner the section, the higher the amount of Ceralloy necessary. The Recommended percentages given are only to improve fluidity for bettercastability, and are not necessarily the correct amounts to improve mechanical properties, although some improvement will be obtained in most cases. |
